HIRING: Impact Fellow - Earth, Climate and Biodiversity Systems

We are currently recruiting an Impact Fellow (Earth, Climate and Biodiversity Systems), who will play a key role in bringing climate science to industry partners and driving positive systems change.

About the Role:

We’re looking for an Earth/Climate/Biodiversity Systems specialist to be based within the Global Systems Institute, working closely with Professor Peter Cox (Professor of Climate System Dynamics in Mathematics and Director of the Global Systems Institute) and colleagues across the Institute and associate programmes and projects.

You will play a key role in delivering integrated climate solutions to non-academic clients, driving business demand, and identifying opportunities for service growth and partnership. You will lead in the development of both bespoke and “off-the-shelf” solutions for external clients and will work as part of a transdisciplinary team, with colleagues in various academic disciplines and those based within the University’s Exeter Innovation team.

The post is available for immediate start and is a full time and permanent position. The postholder will work closely with a number of other specialist Impact Fellows leading in areas such as life cycle analysis, circular economy, transition economics and nature-based solutions.

  • Salary: starting from £43,482 on Grade F
  • Contract: this is a permanent position, available for immediate start
