Dr Dawn Scott

Dawn is an expert in environmental science with an exceptional background in partnership and business development, and project and programme management.

She currently manages the Land, Environment, Economics and Policy Institute (LEEP), which undertakes internationally inspiring and frontier defining research for government and business decision makers, through the application of economics to environmental and societal challenges.

Dawn recently managed the South West Partnership for Environment and Economic Prosperity (SWEEP) – a highly successful impact programme, which applied environmental research to bring natural capital into the heart of decision making. She also recently managed the Joint Centre for Excellence in Environmental Intelligence (JCEEI) – a cutting-edge initiative between the University of Exeter and the Met Office that provides meaningful insight for environmental action, forecasting and solutions.
