Professor Peter Cox

Peter is a world-leading Professor in Climate Systems Dynamics, and the current Director of the Global Systems Institute.

He is especially well-placed to advise on the land carbon cycle, nature-based solutions, and Net Zero.

Peter has worked extensively with the Met Office and the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra). He is a lead-author on the past three Assessment Reports of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC).
