Professor Pierre Friedlingstein holds a Chair in Mathematical Modelling of the Climate System at the University of Exeter.
He leads the annual Global Carbon Budget for the Global Carbon project, which provides a scientifically robust evidence-base to support policy decisions and climate action.
Pierre was recently ranked as the 3rd most influential climate scientist in the world, and was awarded a Fellowship of the Royal Society in 2022.
