Exeter releases new guide to help businesses protect nature and biodiversity

As the world’s nature and biodiversity declines, organisations are increasingly aware of the need to take action, reduce business risks, and restore our natural world. But for many businesses, the path forward can feel uncertain.

The ‘Nature Positive Actions’ guide tackles this knowledge gap head on – with practical advice from climate experts, including Professor Kevin Gaston, Dr Martina Egedusevic, Professor Xiaoyu Yan, Dr Sam Hu, Talwyn Whetter, Marcus Winter and Rebecca Hunt.

Starting with the business case for biodiversity, the guide covers the wide range of actions that organisations can take to reduce their impact on nature – from measuring their biodiversity impact and looking at life-cycle assessment, to the ‘quick wins’ and nature-based solutions that reduce this impact on nature, and create positive outcomes.
